The Samuel Durfee House is a Newport Rhode Island Bed & Breakfast Inn built in 1803 by banker Samuel Durfee of Providence. We are conveniently located downtown in Newport's Yachting Village. Our Newport RI Bed and Breakfast is just a block from the harbor and the restaurants and shops on Thames Street and 1 1/2 blocks from Bellevue Avenue with its mansions, shops, and the Tennis Hall of Fame.

Newport Rhode Island B&BEnjoy a delicious, gourmet breakfast each morning in the dining room or on the patio. Specialties of the house include Portuguese Sweet Bread French Toast and Crepes Benedict. We also serve Newport Coffee Traders Gourmet Coffee, fresh fruit, home baked bread and a variety of juices daily. Each afternoon, enjoy a delicious baked treat and cup of coffee or tea in our sitting room.

At our Newport RI B&B all of our guest rooms have been uniquely decorated. The house is air conditioned in the summer months. Off-street parking is provided.
